Stupidest but still the best...!!

My first semester engineering exam got over in December '10. A month long exam it was. I was exhausted so were rest of my mates. We all were confused where to go and what to do...finally it was decided. First 'pett pooja and then dev pooja'. In simple words we first decided to to have lunch and then to visit some place in SoBo.We headed to Chunabhatti station to get a Train for CST. 6 of us. Santo, Tuby, Bothy,Chubby,Tweety and of course Me. We got down at CST and walked all way long till Zaveri Bazar and i hate Bothy for this. Never mind,we had a great time though.
We finally reached Bhagat Tarachand. Bhagat Tarachand is a famous restaurant chain serving gujju n marwari cuisine. Its the best one can get over there. To our disappointment we had to wait for 45 minutes to get a proper table that would accommodate six of us. The wait was worth...Butter roti.bheendi masal. dal tadka, some khara...i dunno what exactly was that still i loved it...some more dishes were ordered;can't recollect..cuz i'm not a foodie...finally, we were done with our lunch at around 4pm. We go outta the restaurant and started our craziest walk towards Nariman Point. Yes, we decided to visit Nariman Point.Needless to say, we started walking, asking people around for our destination. Meanwhile we went to Mumba Devi temple which was close to that restaurant... I used to a religious lass then.Took darshan and i went to the security gaurd to ask for my way to NM. He asked us to take a bus which would drop us in just 10mins... We again had to walk for 15 more mins to reach the bus stop. The entire area was so crowded that half of us were somewhere else and the other half was apart. We were scattered. We were walkin apart. For a moment i thought we would go missing. But when the bus arrived all of us headed running towards it and then got into it. Sigh!!
10 mins and there we were. We walked for another mile to reach the beauty. I was nineteen and others were eighteen. I always had a different perspective towards life my perceptions were different too. Nariman Point is a long stretch of concrete cement which acts as a boundary to Arabian sea and the stretches till Marine Drive...
Can't describe anything more...Well, 'twas my first visit to a farther place with my friends. I was never allowed to go anywhere until then. What i realized that day, i needed freedom in my life. Freedom to breath easy...freedom to live my life at fullest. I wanted a life of free a bird and not a caged one...It was with these 5 gals i realized and obviously Nariman Point. This journey will always remain close to my heart.
Oceans, seas...are what i love and i find my bliss near the oceans. Will always cherish those memories forever.             And i thank my friends for these memories...!!
